On-line Flying
If you are ready to have a go at on-line flying the biggest problem is where to start and having the confidence to dip your toes in the water for fear of making a fool of yourself.
What you need to find is a reliable Virtual Airline with a 24/7 server and digitally clear audio using TeamSpeak 3. You will need to feel relaxed and comfortable with the other members you come across, feel supported and not be expected to be an expert. Most important of all you must have a good initial introduction with offers of one to one assistance and enjoy the experience.
There are lots of possible solutions, but it is not mere chance that the SWFSG is hosted by the JGA/Flybe VA website.
Have a look at http://www.jgaeurope.co.uk/ and then ask any questions on the new on-line forum on our website.
Five SWFSG members now fly regularly on JGA, two having only started quite recently and are enjoying every flight.
This is not for everyone, but if you feel ready to explore a bit further, contact either Ian or Rory via the ‘Crew’ page of JGA or just post a message on the forum here.
